ABOUT THIS HOLIDAY HOME

A 3-bedroom caravan on Coopers Beach, Mersea Island. It sleeps 8. No pets. Prices run from £450 to £1,680 a week, depending on the season.

FROM THE OWNER

Located at the very front of the park, with uninterrupted sea views, you can literally throw a stone onto the beach from the deck!  Only a couple of minutes walk from the pool, bar, and restaurant (but far enough away that noise isn’t an issue) – the property is only a 30-second walk from the beach!  As it is still being installed, images of the large deck will be added as soon as it is completed, but you can be confident that everything will be ready for your arrival.

We hadn’t heard of Mersea Island before, but after one visit,  we knew we had to have a holiday home here! With its favourable micro-climate and stunning scenery, it was a no-brainer – it has all the feel of the island that it is.

The Parkdean Resort at Coopers Beach was what really sold us though – the beach on-site, indoor and outdoor heated pools, restaurant and bar right on the beach, adventure playground and sports courts, fabulous walks – it’s got it all on a site that is relatively small, unhurried, quiet and superbly clean.

For Lounging: Comfort and luxury, whatever the weather.  Fully opening double doors to the front leading to an 8ft full-width deck with comfortable patio furniture.  A stone’s throw (quite literally) from the beach in front of you, as the property is at the very front of the park you have an uninterrupted view of the sea.

Enjoy the warmer weather and throw the doors open to let the sea breeze and the sounds of the ocean melt all your troubles away. Or snuggle down in the colder months with the pretty fire to keep you warm while you watch the sea from the large windows and doors, or wrap up warm and take a walk on the beach.

LIVING AREA

KITCHEN

For Cooking: Stunning kitchen with lots of counter space on a white marble style worktop. Home from home with dishwasher, oven, hob, kettle, toaster, large fridge/freezer, microwave, and comprehensive range of utensils.

BEDROOMS

For Sleeping: The beautifully appointed master bedroom has a full-sized double bed, double wardrobe, cupboard space, dressing table, and en-suite toilet. The two twin bedrooms also benefit from plenty of wardrobe and cupboard storage for any length of stay. In the lounge is a comfortable 3 seater sofa that can be folded out to a double sofa bed. Duvets and pillows are provided for all bedding but please bring your own bed linen.

BATHROOM(S)

Very roomy Master Bathroom with large shower enclosure and thermostatic shower plus ensuite toilet to the bedroom.

EXTERIOR

For relaxing outside: A huge around deck with a secure gate is currently being installed (pictures will be forthcoming) and will be ready in plenty of time for all our guests to enjoy the stunning view and ocean sounds with nothing in front of you but the sun sea and sand. SITE FACILITIES

When you really want to get away from it all, Parkdean Coopers Beach Holiday Park on Mersea Island is the place to visit. As soon as you approach via the causeway, you know it’s going to be a holiday to remember! Sea views, alfresco dining and heaps of activities await.

Nature lovers and beach enthusiasts will both be in their element, with traditional seaside activities such as crabbing and walks to the Blackwater Estuary to watch the migrating birds on offer. You’ll find plenty of fantastic attractions nearby.

On park, you’ll be able to enjoy direct beach access – there’s even a boat launching facility if you fancy taking to the water. Work up an appetite in the newly refurbished outdoor swimming pool before tucking into a tasty family meal at The Boathouse Bar & Restaurant while enjoying spectacular sea views.
